About the role
- Business Intelligence Analyst at Fox Communities in Appleton providing valuable reporting and analysis. Collaborating with departments to support strategic initiatives and develop insights from data.
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with all other departments of Fox Communities, providing valuable reporting and analysis to support strategic initiatives.
- Builds, develops, publishes and maintains data models, reports and apps for Power BI.
- Assists in development and management of Business Intelligence solutions including the data warehouse, SQL databases and data automation applications.
- Develops best practices using visualization tools and assists with organizational training.
- Provides expert knowledge of operational database tables sourced for the data warehouse.
- Assists with the training, development, and support of analyst level team members.
- Leads the development and documentation of organizational KPIs.
- Prepares dashboards and reports for the Board of Directors and Senior Management.
- Analyzes data for anomalies, accuracy, and applicability to business unit requests.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with a background in business, computer science, or data science preferred; MBA a plus.
- Experience will be considered in lieu of education.
- At least three to five years of similar or related experience
- Experience working with Power BI and DAX required
- Working knowledge of SQL required.
- Experience with Oracle, SQL Server and/or Snowflake databases preferred
- Experience with Google Analytics a plus
- Experience with R, Python, XML, and other programming experience a plus
- Experience managing large amounts of data from various sources
- Intermediate or advanced skill level with Microsoft Excel
- Ability to use the entire Microsoft Office suite of products
