About the role
- Develop a PHP back-end for logistics applications at Azapfy. Work with APIs, databases, and team collaboration in an agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain back-end applications using PHP and the Laravel framework, with a focus on performance, scalability, and best practices.
- Design, implement, and optimize RESTful APIs for integration with front-end, mobile, and third-party systems.
- Manage and maintain NoSQL databases (primarily MongoDB), and work with relational databases when necessary.
- Identify, analyze, and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks.
- Write and maintain automated tests (unit and integration) with a focus on coverage and code quality.
- Participate in code reviews and collaborate with the team to maintain codebase quality and consistency.
- Document solutions and technical decisions to ensure shared knowledge within the team.
- Support the team in adopting and promoting development best practices such as Clean Code, SOLID, and TDD.
- Contribute to architectural improvements, refactorings, and the continuous evolution of the product.
- Collaborate with the DevOps team and other areas to ensure continuous integration and efficient software delivery.
Requirements
- Proven experience with PHP and Laravel in real projects.
- Strong knowledge of building and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Experience with NoSQL databases, especially MongoDB.
- Familiarity with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Practical experience with version control using Git and Git Flow.
- Experience with automated testing (PHPUnit, Pest, or similar).
- Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker).
- Experience using Eloquent ORM and design patterns in Laravel.
- Basic understanding of software architecture, security, and scalability.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
