Responsibilities
Planning, programming and commissioning of PLC control systems (Siemens TIA Portal)
Development and optimization of automation concepts for PEM electrolyzers
Creation of visualizations (HMI, WinCC Unified) for operation and monitoring of hydrogen production
Performing fault analyses and troubleshooting
Documentation of control software and technical processes
Collaboration with internal departments as well as external partners and customers
Specification of internal and external control interfaces
Participation in standardization concepts for automation and their implementation
Compliance with international regulations and standards, e.g. explosion protection, functional safety and software development standards
Requirements
Degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering, or equivalent vocational qualification with further training
Experience in planning, designing and implementing automation systems
Knowledge of Siemens (Step7, TIA) or Beckhoff (TwinCAT) desirable
Familiarity with common visualization tools (e.g., Siemens WinCC Unified)
Experience in hardware planning with electrical CAD systems, preferably EPLAN
Knowledge of control engineering, technical regulations and standards
Experience programming safety controllers and working with fieldbus systems
Fluent German and English (business level)
Quick comprehension and enjoyment of analytical and creative teamwork
