About the role

• Prüfungsassistent supporting audits of financial statements with digital innovation. Collaborating with a team of experts in a modern tax and audit firm.

Responsibilities

• Participate in statutory and voluntary audits of annual and consolidated financial statements across various industries and legal forms
• Support special audits and business advisory projects
• Analyze clients' business processes and internal control systems
• Prepare structured and auditable working papers and document audit procedures
• Help shape and further develop our digital, risk-oriented audit approach
• Work closely and collegially with experienced auditors, tax advisors and our clients
• With appropriate experience: independently plan and coordinate audit teams and assume initial client responsibility

Requirements

• Degree in business administration, economics or a related field, ideally with a focus on accounting, auditing or taxation
• Initial professional experience (at least 6 months) in auditing or financial statement audits
• Solid knowledge of accounting under German GAAP (HGB); initial IFRS experience is an advantage
• Analytical thinking, a structured and careful working style, and strong numerical aptitude
• High level of personal responsibility, commitment and team spirit
• Strong communication skills and a confident manner in client contact
• Proficient with MS Office (particularly Excel); experience with DATEV or audit tools (e.g., Audicon) is a plus
• Interest in digital tools, innovation, data analysis and modern ways of working
