About the role
- Audit Analyst supporting high-quality audits at Lloyds Banking Group, focusing on Insurance, Pensions & Investments. Collaborating with teams to provide insights and ensure effective auditing processes.
Responsibilities
- Support control testing and identify areas of concern, articulating the potential challenge.
- Help deliver the audit plan and add valuable insights to the business to support them in achieving the right outcomes for customers.
- Develop an understanding of the areas of the business that you are auditing using your existing knowledge of the Insurance, Pensions and Investments industry.
- Develop and build stakeholder relationships.

Requirements
- Risk Management and Control: Prior audit (internal or external) or risk assurance experience.
- Strong track record of delivering risk and control assurance work that is impactful, insightful and valued by stakeholders.
- Technical Expertise: Knowledge of insurance, pensions or investments products.
- Project Delivery: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to take ownership and prioritise your work effectively to ensure it is delivered on time.
- Strategic Thinking: The ability to understand and interpret Group and Business Unit Strategy and connect this to audit delivery to develop relevant insights.
- Be willing to take on new challenges and take ownership of your own growth and development.
- Data Analytics: The ability to analyse, understand and communicate data as information, and to use data to drive effective audit outcomes.
- And any experience of these would be really useful: Experience of using Agile project management principles to deliver audits.
- Understanding of direct to consumer investment platforms and products.
- Understanding of investment fund structures and Regulated Activities.
