About the role
- Associate Designer responsible for design and development of home textile products at American Exchange Group. Collaborating with teams to deliver market-relevant designs with a focus on quality and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop home textile products, including decorative pillows, bedding, throws, and bath.
- Create artwork, patterns, and technical design files using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Collaborate with production, sourcing, and sales to bring designs from concept to completion.
- Research design trends, colors, materials, and techniques to deliver fresh, market-relevant products.
- Balance multiple projects and deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Support showroom set-up for internal and client presentations.
Requirements
- 1–4 years of professional experience in home textile design.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, knowledge of additional design or CAD software is a plus.
- Strong eye for color, pattern, scale, and texture, with sensitivity to both trends and timeless design.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; a true team player.
- Eagerness to learn, grow, and take on new challenges.
