About the role
- Associate Counsel ensuring compliance with legal standards and supporting compliance program at Nestlé USA. Providing legal support on corporate policies, data privacy, and AI regulations
Responsibilities
- Ensure the organization’s adherence to Nestlé policies, legal standards and regulatory requirements
- Support the company’s compliance program, including corporate compliance, data privacy legal support, and emerging AI legal compliance
- Administer and monitor Nestlé’s compliance and ethics hotline
- Conduct risk assessments to identify and mitigate compliance risks
- Work closely with business lawyers to assess data privacy risks and provide solutions
- Provide legal support on the use of artificial intelligence technologies
Requirements
- JD degree required with a license to practice in OH or VA as applicable; or ability to waive in
- Certifications such as Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP), Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP), or similar preferred
- 5 years of experience in compliance, legal, or data privacy roles
- Knowledge of corporate compliance programs, data privacy regulations, and AI legal/ethical frameworks
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- High ethical standards and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments
