About the role

• Architect responsible for technical maintenance and modernization of residential buildings in Berlin. Overseeing planning and coordination of energetic renovations with collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Technical maintenance and ongoing development of an assigned portfolio of buildings
• Planning, management and supervision of renovation and modernization projects, with a focus on energy-efficiency measures for multi-family residential buildings
• Conducting condition surveys and planning and cost estimation of structural measures
• Preparation of specifications (bill of quantities) and construction schedules
• Coordination of regulatory and neighborhood/community concerns
• Coordination and oversight of construction processes including schedule, cost and quality control
• Close coordination with the commercial/administrative department
• Communication with tenants, contractors and authorities

Requirements

• Degree in a technical field of construction (Civil Engineering, Architecture) or qualification as a technician / certified building technician (m/f/d)
• Several years of professional experience in planning and leading refurbishment projects for existing buildings, primarily in energy-related building renovations
• In-depth experience in preparing specifications (bill of quantities)
• Experience in the residential property sector
• Ideally experience with MS Office and knowledge of SAP
• Structured working style and strong time management skills
• Reliable and communicative personality
