- Application Developer Avaloq involved in various projects for a bank in Basel. Responsibilities include analysis, implementation, and system support with a focus on sustainability.
Responsibilities
- Participate in projects covering analysis, concept development, implementation, integration, testing and rollout of business functionality for portfolio management, payments, tax, Lombard loans, etc.
- Lead project design regarding best practices and implementation through agile transformation
- Responsible for supporting IT systems with a focus on sustainability and stability
- Configure business solutions in Avaloq and the associated peripheral systems
- Coordinate with external vendors during the implementation of new solutions
- Ensure availability of all relevant systems
- Evaluate new change requests from a developer’s perspective
- Coordinate activities in cross-divisional projects
- Develop and support in-house developments and interfaces
- Work on ad hoc projects as required.
Requirements
- HF (Swiss higher technical diploma), Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or Engineering
- Avaloq Certified Professional (ACP) is a plus
- Qualified IT specialist or application developer
- Work experience with Avaloq at a bank or in banking consulting
- Strong scripting skills and knowledge of Oracle SQL
- Act as a reliable IT partner for an innovative and demanding business
- A flair for conceptual and analytical work and solution-oriented thinking
- Team- and communication-oriented with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders in dynamic environments
- Resilient personality with initiative and strong execution skills
