About the role
- Implement new features for the George banking platform and refactor or extend existing features
- Assist business analysts in speccing new features
- Work hand-in-hand with the design team to create the best possible user experience
- Write clean, maintainable code and develop top-quality mobile apps
- Participate as a core member of the agile delivery process and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in Android development within a dynamic Agile environment
- Apply advanced Kotlin concepts (e.g., coroutines, flows, suspend functions)
- Experience with Git Flow or similar branching strategies
- Write comprehensive unit tests, integration tests, and UI tests
- Develop complex UI screens with custom views and layouts with Jetpack Compose
- Advanced knowledge of TeamCity, Refactoring, Linting, Dependency Injections, Build Tooling and Security Concepts
- Communication and leadership skills with openness for feedback
- Deep understanding of industry trends and best practices
- This is not a freelancing or contracting offer (internal employee only)
- Hybrid set-up: ability to be in Bratislava office 2-3 days a week; if living outside Slovakia, relocation to Slovakia is required
