About the role

  • By joining this role, you’ll be part of a cross functional team, which is responsible for the whole lifecycle of GenAI use cases, from assessment to implementation and operationalization.
  • You’ll play a pivotal role in advancing the Bank’s Generative AI adoption, contributing to a growing portfolio of high-impactful use cases.
  • As an AI Engineer you will be designing, developing, testing and deploying the AI solution using the state-of-the-art frameworks, libraries, and platforms, as well as ensuring performance, reliability, and regulatory compliance of GenAI models and systems.
  • You will be responsible for the technological infrastructure and platform optimization necessary for successful use case implementation, ensuring the tech infrastructure aligns with the use case needs.
  • Your key responsibilities will be: Analysis of the different use cases and design of the solution to support the implementation.
  • Set up of the different elements within the AI application (data pipeline, user interface, etc) and the relevant activities.
  • Build robust AI systems with an eye on the long-term maintenance, scalability, security and performance.
  • Lead model, application and data monitoring and maintenance.
  • Design and deliver the integration of AI technologies into the existing IT infrastructure and data landscape of the Bank.

Requirements

  • Have 2+ years of hands-on experience applying AI to deliver business-impactful solutions, with a focus on Generative AI technologies.
  • Have proven expertise in deploying production-grade GenAI use cases, including: LLM frameworks, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures, Agentic workflows and protocols (e.g., MCP, A2A), AI chatbot development and orchestration.
  • Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Are proficient in cloud-native AI development, with experience in optimizing GenAI workloads on platforms such as Azure (preferable), AWS, or GCP.
  • Have a solid foundation in software engineering practices, including CI/CD, containerization, and scalable microservices.
  • Are fluent in Python, with practical experience in building and fine-tuning GenAI pipelines.
  • Demonstrate strong collaboration and leadership skills, with a proactive mindset and the ability to thrive in agile, cross-functional teams.
  • Are fluent in English language
