Satellogic

• Lead the execution of projects including the Model, design and analysis of high-performance imaging hardware, specifically focusing on telescopes and optical elements assemblies.
• Work with the optoelectronics team to design and validate designs through rigorous calibration and experimentation in labs and plant.
• Ensure the project's operational success, including designing, manufacturing, supplier development and tracking of key development phases.
• Be the primary technical point of contact responsible for optical elements as filters and telescopes, interfacing with other engineers.
• Interpret mission specific and spacecraft system level requirements and establish the baseline technical requirements.
• Provide technical support for operations.
• Prepare/update/present subsystem design analysis documentation for design reviews throughout the project life cycle.
• Define integration and test plans and requirements for the optical elements development.
• Manage any anomalies or non-conformances throughout the project life cycle and present NCRs. 
• Suggest improvements in optomechanical design to simplify manufacturing processes and improve quality.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers in design of optical systems components and alignment, integration and calibration procedures.
• Partner with multiple suppliers to obtain the best product costing and quality and improve supply chain reliability.

Senior Optomechanical Engineer

Optomechanical Sr Engineer leading the design and analysis of high-performance imaging hardware at Satellogic. Working on telescopes and optical elements assemblies with a team of engineers.

Proyecto Fenix is a program promoted by the Consulate General of Italy in Buenos Aires in collaboration with Italian consular agencies and the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Argentina that facilitates the insertion and reinsertion of Italian-Argentines and new Italian immigrants into the labor market. It operates regional job portals where candidates can upload CVs and apply to vacancies, provides training scholarships and vocational courses (e.g., food handling, Italian for work, pizzaiolo, digital marketing), and connects employers with subsidized hires and recruitment support across multiple Argentine provinces. The initiative focuses on employability, training, and matching between jobseekers and companies, with a federal expansion through additional consulates and local partners.

• Model, perform simulations and analysis of lenses, telescopes, filters, and of optical sensor components for imaging systems in visible and near infrared light (ray tracing, Fourier optics, radiometry).
