About the role
- Manufacturing Engineer implementing and improving manufacturing systems at ZF Chassis Modules. Focused on assembly, production efficiency, and project startup in the automotive sector.
Responsibilities
- Plan, implement and improve the assembly and manufacturing system and its processes according to ZF standards and policies as well as customer requirements.
- Plan and implement assembly lines and related equipment as tooling, spare parts and back-up tools.
- Implement engineering- and process changes as well as safety guidelines.
- Teach and lead by means of “hands on”-practicing principles and techniques of the running production system.
- Establish and update process documentation, such as standardized work, work instructions, line layout, assembly manual, back-up documentation and related documents.
- Guide and support the start-up of new manufacturing projects.
- Provide technical support to internal customers.
- Take care of assembly line parameterization.
- Optimize settings for technical assembly equipment (nut runners, presses, wheel alignment etc.).
- Support maintenance team daily activity, ensure spare part availability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in the field of engineering
- Min. 3-5 years of professional experience in manufacturing and assembly operations
- Profound analytical and problem solving skills
- Auto CAD experience, MS Office knowledge and PLC understanding
- Good mechanical and technical skills
- Good communication skills
- Working proficiency in English and Hungarian
- Lean – maintenance methods experience is advantage
