About the role
- QA Automation Engineer ensuring quality in ZF Aftermarket product engineering team. Creating automation test suites and collaborating closely with product and engineering teams in Warsaw, Poland.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the quality of our customer-facing products
- Creation of automation test suites for web and mobile applications as well as for data pipelines and execute to validate software functionality and performance
- Review test coverage of developer-driven automation testing
- Tracking and escalation of issues
- Work closely with Product Owners and Engineering to ensure features meet the expected quality, both in definition and delivery
- Create detailed test cases based on functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Ensure test cases cover all aspects of the application, including functionality, performance, security, and usability.
- Identify test scenarios for both positive and negative testing
- Perform manual testing when required
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in similar role.
- Deep & proven experience in testing throughout the SDLC, knowledge of test plan creation and execution including respective management tools.
- Familiar with cloud concepts and technologies, comfortable working with databases and querying data
- Ability to develop automated test suits using frameworks (e.g. playwright or similar)
- Ability to understand business objectives and customer requirements to properly evaluate the overall quality of the software application
- Familiarity with testing tools (e.g. Selenium, Postman or similar) as well as with Jira/Confluence, Gitlab
- Experienced in working in agile environments (Scrum)
- Growth mindset combined with curiosity and solution orientation and strong drive to deliver
- Very good communication and collaboration skills
- Fluent in English, other languages are a bonus.
