About the role
- Senior Controller managing corporate planning across multiple business areas for a modern energy supplier. Involves reporting, digitalization, and collaborative project work.
Responsibilities
- Responsibility for corporate planning across multiple business areas
- Support for monthly, quarterly and annual financial closings
- Preparation of reports, analyses and decision papers – including for executive management, the supervisory board and municipal committees
- Support in operational day-to-day activities, e.g., posting business transactions or reconciling data
- Contribution to the further development of our Unit4 planning system
- Analysis, optimization and digitalization of controlling and accounting processes
- Participation in cross-departmental projects
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Business Informatics or a comparable field
- Several years of professional experience in controlling, ideally in the energy supply sector (gas, electricity, district heating)
- Solid knowledge of corporate planning, reporting and business analysis
- Ideally experience preparing documents for supervisory boards or municipal committees
- Confident use of ERP and planning systems (experience with Unit4 is an advantage)
- Strong IT and digitalization affinity and an interest in process optimization
- Structured, analytical working style and strong communication skills
- Willingness to take on both strategic responsibilities and operational tasks
