About the role
- Senior IT Administrator responsible for hybrid IT infrastructure at an innovative precision surface finishing manufacturer in Germany. Focus on Microsoft 365 optimization and cloud transformation.
Responsibilities
- Operation and further development of a hybrid IT infrastructure (cloud & on-premises)
- Administration and optimization of the Microsoft 365 environment (including Entra ID, Intune, etc.)
- Support and implementation of cloud transformation (migration of on-premises systems to the cloud)
- Support of classical infrastructure components such as Active Directory, Exchange (On-Premises & Online) and Group Policies
- Participation in the administration of virtualization solutions (e.g., VMware) as well as backup and security systems
- Coordination of external service providers and collaboration with international stakeholders
- Ensuring IT security, compliance and system availability
- Analysis, design and implementation of new technical solutions and processes
- Independent management of projects and continuous optimization of the IT landscape
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years' professional experience
- German language proficiency at C1 level
- Solid knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem (Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID)
- Experience with hybrid IT environments (cloud & on-premises)
- Good knowledge of traditional infrastructure topics (e.g., Active Directory, Exchange, Group Policies)
- Experience with PowerShell or similar scripting languages
- Willingness to work across disciplines as a generalist and to learn new topics
- Independent, solution-oriented and responsible working style
