Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and evolve data pipelines (ETL/ELT) using Python.
Build integrations with different data sources (REST APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases, files, messaging systems).
Work on data modeling for analytical layers (Bronze, Silver, Gold or equivalents).
Use AWS services for data ingestion, processing, storage, and consumption.
Ensure data quality, reliability, traceability, and performance.
Implement best practices for version control, monitoring, and failure handling in pipelines.
Support BI, Analytics, and AI teams in correct data consumption.
Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvements of the data architecture.
Document data flows, pipelines, business rules, and data architecture.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
Solid experience as a Data Engineer (Mid or Senior level).
Proficiency in Python, with a focus on data processing and transformation.
Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT and data pipelines.
Practical experience with AWS (e.g., S3, EC2, RDS, Lambda, Glue, Athena, Redshift or similar).
Knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server or similar).
Experience with code versioning (Git).
Ability to work with large volumes of data and multiple sources.
Good communication, organizational skills, and a collaborative mindset.
Experience with layered data architectures (Bronze / Silver / Gold, Data Lake, Data Warehouse).
