Responsibilities

  • Join WithersRavenel as a Landscape Designer I and play a key role in helping to shape the communities where we live and work.
  • Work closely with Landscape Architects, Project Managers, and Professional Engineers to translate concepts into high-quality, documentable design solutions.
  • Gain hands-on experience supporting landscape architecture projects from concept through construction.
  • Build technical and creative skills through design production, graphics, and renderings.
  • Learn from experienced professionals who are invested in your growth and development.
  • Play an active role in producing studio deliverables and shaping project outcomes.
  • Hybrid schedule - about three days a week in the office.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture, or equivalent experience
  • Successful completion of at least one section of the LARE exam
  • Self-motivated, engaged, and team-oriented with the ability to work independently
  • Execute multiple tasks under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities
  • Understand planning and/or design concepts and methods
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience in hand-graphics and rendering
  • Willingness to take direction and learn software applications
  • Demonstrate personal investment in your career
  • Energetic, flexible, confident, and forward thinking
  • Preferred: Internships in field of expertise
  • AutoCAD, MicroStation, AutoCAD Civil3D, Geopak, and/or graphic software experience
  • Experience in Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
  • Experience in SketchUp or other modeling software
