About the role
- Consultant QA responsible for formulating and executing test strategies for IT projects in a consultancy setting. Engage actively in the community and contribute to project success.
Responsibilities
- Develop the test strategy
- Analyze, evaluate and challenge user requirements and User Stories
- Prepare all test deliverables, including test plans, test scenarios and datasets
- Execute test campaigns
- Perform root cause analysis, investigate systems, analyze logs, run database queries, etc.
- Manage defects and execute regression tests
- Collaborate with the development team to investigate identified issues and recommend corrective actions
- Monitor functional and technical innovations within your scope
Requirements
- Master’s degree (Bac+5) or equivalent in engineering, computer science or business
- Able to work independently on test design and test campaigns
- Experience using various test repository/test management tools
- Comfortable working in IT project environments
- Knowledge of complex systems (ERP, CRM, etc.)
- IT knowledge (APIs, SQL, etc.)
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Postman, etc.
- Organized in managing your workload
- Analytical mindset and proactive in proposing solutions for problem resolution and implementation
- Strong client commitment and client relationship skills
- Committed and able to advocate for your ideas and convictions
- Takes initiative and works well in a team
- Good written and verbal communication skills in French and English
