Senior Delivery Stream Engineer working at Westinghouse verifying quality and managing suppliers for energy solutions projects. Overseeing multiple projects and ensuring compliance with technical requirements.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Delivery Stream Engineer you will be responsible for verifying quality and technical requirements for projects, products, and service deliveries for Westinghouse – from bid phase and component design through manufacturing and delivery.
Evaluate new and existing suppliers as requested by the Delivery Stream Manager to include interfacing with customers, manage multiple projects and reporting for opportunities related to AP1000, AP300, eVinci and other products within the APX Portfolio.
Lead Supplier Design Proposal / Compliance Matrix review meetings.
Creating the Manufacturing and Process Plan estimates for use in design option selection or validation of cost and schedule.
Executing Supplier Oversight Quality Assurance (QA) Technical Witness and Hold Points.
Supporting the project management team to interface with Supplier Quality support organizations.
Create Agendas and Lead Kick-Off meetings with Suppliers.
Conduct regularly scheduled meetings (e.g., bi-weekly, weekly, etc.) with Supplier and Westinghouse Project Support Team Members.
Manage/Drive Westinghouse Project Support Team Execution.
Manage execution of required Supplier QA Witness and Hold Points.
Hold pre-job briefs and/or kick-off meetings for important/critical PO manufacturing activities.
Drive/Support Purchase Order (PO) Change Notices (as needed).
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering
Minimum 4 years of experience preferred in the Power Generation or Nuclear Industries, or other similar regulated industries
Knowledge of programming software is a plus but not required
Fluent in English, secondary language skills a plus but not required
Willingness to travel up to 20% to support emergent project issues/supplier development
US Citizen. The candidate must meet the criteria for access to the company's partners' and clients' technologies and meet import/export controls laws and regulations.
