About the role

• Senior Consultant at Wavestone advising clients on SAP S/4HANA purchasing processes and managing transformation projects. Collaborating with IT and business colleagues to implement digital solutions.

Responsibilities

• You will advise and support our customers in the digitalisation of their purchasing processes and help them to implement them on the basis of SAP S/4HANA Sourcing, Procurement & Inventory - whether on premises or in the cloud
• You will manage transformation projects in S/4HANA environment
• You will manage the entire project cycle: from the fit-to-standard analysis to customising & testing and the roll-out of the new system
• Work with IT and business colleagues to develop solutions to specific problems that at times leverage existing solutions and systems
• Build professional relationships with clients, management, and team members to ensure the delivery of proposed solutions

Requirements

• You have several years of professional experience in a consulting role in the SAP environment
• Your background includes substantial expertise in SAP MM (Materials Management) or S/4HANA Sourcing, Procurement & Inventory
• You have experience in end-to-end SAP S/4HANA rollout projects, including planning, blueprinting, configuration, and post-go-live support
• You have the ability to analyze, map, and improve procurement and inventory processes, ensuring solutions align with business objectives and compliance requirements
• Show strong customer orientation for both internal and external stakeholders, with a proactive and solution-oriented attitude
• Speak fluent business English and German
• Enjoy occasional travel to the customers
