About the role

• Consultant in Energy Transformation for Wavestone focusing on innovative projects in the energy sector. Collaborating with teams on business processes and digital solutions.

Responsibilities

• We are expanding our Energy team and are looking for you as a Consultant – Energy Transformation (all genders) at the location of your choice; part-time options are also possible.
• You will work on exciting projects focused on innovative topics within the energy sector.
• Together with your team, you will advise our clients on energy transition topics such as Smart City, Smart Energy Market, Smart Grid, and more.
• You will support your colleagues in defining future-proof and innovative business processes along the energy value chain.
• You will participate in designing digital and innovative solutions and actively contribute to their implementation.
• You will monitor trends and developments in the energy market and contribute to the further development of our consulting services.

Requirements

• You hold a very good degree in business administration, economics, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field, ideally with a focus on energy topics.
• You have already gained experience in management consulting or in the energy industry.
• You are technology-savvy, enthusiastic, communicative, solution-oriented rather than problem-focused, and benefit from your ability to approach challenges in a planned and structured way.

• You are fluent in German and English and willing to travel.
