Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end music royalties process
- Manage and develop a team of 4
- Oversee the setup and maintenance of royalty agreements
- Review and approve royalty calculations and statements
- Serve as the main escalation point for complex participant inquiries
- Partner with Accounting and Controllership on revenue allocations
- Support budgeting, forecasting, monthly reporting, and ad hoc financial analysis
- Prepare and present reporting and insights to music and finance stakeholders
- Drive process improvements and systems enhancements
Requirements
- 6–8+ years of experience in royalties, finance, accounting, or related entertainment industry operations
- Experience managing or overseeing royalty calculation, statementing, and payment processes
- Strong Excel and financial analysis skills
- Strong understanding of contracts, financial terms, and operational controls
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across functions
- Experience leading or developing team members
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field required.
