About the role

Responsibilities
- Own the architecture and technical direction of GCP‑based solutions
- Define, document, and enforce cloud patterns, standards, and best practices
- Act as the technical authority for architectural and design decisions related to GCP
- Ensure cloud solutions comply with enterprise security, privacy, and governance requirements
- Collaborate with engineering, platform, security, and FinOps teams to ensure cohesion across technical deliveries
- Review technical designs and provide architectural governance and guidance
- Mentor delivery teams to build capability and ensure architectural alignment
Requirements
- Experienced GCP Cloud or Solution Architect with strong hands‑on background
- Solid understanding of core GCP services, IAM, networking, and cloud security practices
- Skilled in designing scalable, production‑grade cloud architectures
- Able to translate business requirements into resilient technical solutions
- Strong communicator with effective stakeholder management abilities
- Advantageous if you bring experience with:
- • Data and analytics platforms (BigQuery, Looker)
- • DevOps and Infrastructure‑as‑Code (Terraform, CI/CD)
- • FinOps or cloud cost optimisation
- • GCP certifications
- • TOGAF
