About the role

• Cloud Engineer designing and implementing Azure infrastructures for clients at Axians. Collaborating in cross-functional teams and managing cloud strategies and deployments.

Responsibilities

• You design, implement and operate Azure infrastructures — from networking and security to automation and deployment.
• You help organizations implement, expand and improve Azure services, aligning technical excellence with organizational requirements.
• You develop Infrastructure-as-Code solutions with Terraform or Bicep and use PowerShell to automate recurring tasks.
• You configure Entra ID, Conditional Access and governance structures and advise on identity and access strategies.
• You design Azure DevOps pipelines for CI/CD, automation and infrastructure deployments.
• You conduct workshops and reviews with client teams to develop cloud strategies, architectures and operating models.
• You document solutions clearly and transparently — providing the basis for operations, knowledge transfer and further development.

Requirements

• Several years of experience with Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Services (Compute, Network, Storage, Security, Monitoring)
• Strong knowledge of Terraform, Bicep and PowerShell
• Experience building and operating Azure DevOps pipelines (CI/CD) and a deep understanding of Entra ID and modern identity & access concepts
• Ability to explain technical relationships clearly — in projects, workshops and client conversations
• A pronounced consulting mindset: you think solution-oriented, communicate clearly and can contextualize technical recommendations within the business to truly help clients
• An independent, structured way of working and enjoyment of teamwork in an interdisciplinary environment will help you succeed.
