Responsibilities
- The Sourcing Specialist, Indirect Materials and Services is responsible for planning and driving negotiations, projects and initiatives to reduce total cost of ownership across multiple indirect spend commodities.
- Manage assigned supply base, driving continuous cost and quality improvements.
- Design and implement best practices to improve business performance, reduce waste, and strengthen supply chain reliability.
- Leverage data analytics to map and drive cost reduction opportunities.
- Lead sourcing events (RFI’s, RFQs, RFPs) enabling total landed cost reduction opportunities and new product development.
- Drive effective communication and collaboration with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, engineering, finance or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, materials or supply chain roles.
- Experience in international trade is a plus.
- Cross functional leadership.
- Knowledge of MS Excel, MRP/ERP (Oracle or similar), Power BI, Domo, Tableau or similar
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Participative leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong assertive communication, ability to positively influence others and drive results.
