About the role

  • Senior Hardware Developer at Viewpointsystem GmbH designing high-end wearable eye-tracking for innovative smart glasses. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and contributing to design-for-manufacturing strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop schematics and PCB layouts for high-end wearable eye-tracking systems.
  • Collaborate closely with a cross-functional team, including mechanical engineers, firmware developers, and optics specialists.
  • Contribute to the design-for-manufacturing strategy for complex, PCB-integrated systems embedded in wearable glasses.
  • Perform hardware bring-up and develop test devices.

Requirements

  • Completed studies or vocational training (e.g., HTL) in electrical engineering, embedded systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of PCB manufacturing and assembly processes.
  • Proven experience in HDI electronic circuit development and EMC-compliant design.
  • Experience in schematic design and component selection.
  • Knowledge of firmware and driver programming.
  • Fluent in English (German is a plus).
