About the role

Back-End Specialist developing digital video capabilities for Globo's platforms. Focused on solutions for video delivery and user experience with scalability and performance.

Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field;
Solid track record in backend application development;
Experience with the Go (Golang) language;
Experience designing and architecting distributed, scalable systems;
Strong software engineering background (SOLID principles, design patterns, etc.);
Knowledge of container virtualization solutions (Docker);
Knowledge of container orchestration solutions (Kubernetes);
Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, ELK, New Relic, Datadog, etc.);
Experience documenting technical decisions;
Experience writing unit, functional, and integration tests;
Knowledge of databases (SQL and NoSQL);
Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban);
Additional qualifications that stand out:
Postgraduate degree or Master's degree;
Experience with web servers / reverse proxy systems (Nginx or Apache);
Knowledge of Lua;
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform);
Knowledge of Unix and operating systems in general (terminal, network stack, etc.);
Experience mentoring and developing technical people.
