About the role

• Lead Developer managing both hands-on development and team leadership within VeepeeTech in Paris. Collaborate with teams to ensure high-quality delivery and foster innovation.

Responsibilities

• Technical leadership: collaborate with other tech leads and architects to define and enforce development standards, architectural guidelines, and coding practices.
• Ensure code quality through the implementation of regular code reviews.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.
• Ensure high performance and scalability of the solutions developed, keeping user experience and business requirements in mind.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align development efforts with product and business objectives.
• Maintain and develop technical guidelines for the team based on business needs.
• Ensure the team follows guidelines and maintains high code quality, adhering to established processes.
• Team leadership: lead and manage the development team, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure successful project delivery.
• Mentor and coach developers to enhance technical skills, promote best practices, and encourage professional growth.
• Facilitate team meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
• Conduct regular 1:1 meetings with developers to review progress, address challenges, and align on individual goals.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a lead developer or in a similar role with managerial responsibilities.
• Strong technical expertise in software development.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience guiding and mentoring developers.
• Excellent project management skills, able to prioritize and allocate resources efficiently.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
• In-depth knowledge of architecture, development standards, and coding best practices.
• Solid knowledge of Vue (Options API).
• Proficiency with Git commands and GitLab Flow.
• Basic knowledge of TypeScript.
• State management with Pinia and associated tooling (Vite, VuePress).
