Responsibilities
- Technical point of contact and interface between departments such as Research & Development, Hardware Engineering and other specialist teams
- Coordination and development of the global hardware organization for electrical topics
- Identification of optimal methods through cost–benefit analyses to improve efficiency and quality
- Creation of concepts and evaluation of hardware architectures
- Design and engineering of electrical controls and systems in mechanical and plant engineering
- Calculation of power requirements and planning of grounding/earthing requirements
- Creation and maintenance of generatable schematics, parts lists and technical documentation in EPLAN P8
- Support and training of colleagues in the use of the toolchain and the standardized hardware architecture
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or several years of professional experience as a technician
- 3–5 years of experience in development or project execution
- Solid experience in hardware engineering
- Very good knowledge of EPLAN P8 (including eStock, eBuild, eManage, ProPanel)
- Good understanding of the SIMATIC product range
- Good spoken and written English and German
- Strong team skills, intercultural competence, reliability and ability to work independently
