About the role
- Lead Engineer managing technical delivery of electrification projects in energy & industrial sectors. Overseeing quality and budget, coordinating teams, and making technical decisions in Finland.
Responsibilities
- Manage the technical delivery of projects from start to finish.
- Ensure solutions meet customer standards and expectations.
- Oversee quality, schedule, and budget within your scope.
- Coordinate engineering work with internal teams, customers, and suppliers.
- Make technical decisions, schedule tasks, supervise engineering and field installation at sites.
- Make purchasing for E&I equipment and participate in process equipment procurement.
- Use the customer contract as a key tool to manage scope and delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Automation, Electronics, Energy, or Industrial Engineering, or another relevant field.
- Several years of experience in instrumentation or electrification within projects.
- Familiarity with electrification and processes in power boilers, power plants, or recovery boilers is a strong plus.
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Willingness to travel regularly (short duration monthly basis for meetings with customer and suppliers).
- Strong prioritization and decision-making skills.
- The ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams.
- A proactive mindset and willingness to learn and seek solutions collaboratively.
