About the role
- Video Editor creating performance ads for social media at Uplift Marketing. Collaborating closely with the creative team to produce compelling video content that drives sales.
Responsibilities
- Editing and post-production of performance video ads (UGC, founder footage, voiceover, B-roll)
- Implementation of creative briefings (hooks, angles, CTAs, pacing)
- Adapting and iterating existing creatives (testing, variants, scaling)
- Adding text overlays, subtitles, and pattern interrupts
- Close collaboration with creative strategists and graphic design
- Neat organization and handover of creatives according to internal standards
Requirements
- Experience editing video for social media/ads
- Proficiency with Premiere Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve
- Understanding of performance ads (hook, retention, scroll-stopper)
- Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and visual clarity
- Ability to implement feedback quickly
- Independent, structured working style
- Nice to have (not required): experience with UGC ads
- Understanding of Meta ads / e-commerce
- Motion basics (text overlays, simple animations)
