About the role

• Systems Engineer in IT Operations responsible for maintaining clients' IT infrastructures and implementing changes. Work in a hybrid environment supporting business customers' tech needs.

Responsibilities

• You will support our Operations team in the reliable operation of modern IT infrastructures for our business clients
• You will take full ownership of “your” customer systems and ensure stable, secure operations
• You will analyze incidents, identify root causes and resolve problems in a sustainable way
• You will monitor systems, optimize processes and keep our infrastructure up to date
• You will develop implementation concepts for change requests and carry them out independently
• You bring solid IT expertise and a desire to continually develop your skills

Requirements

• Several years of experience in a comparable IT Operations or Systems Engineering role
• Broad, hands-on expertise in: Microsoft technologies: Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, SQL, O365 / Microsoft Azure / Virtualization & Storage: ESX, Hyper-V, NetApp, Nimble
• Application Delivery: Citrix XenApp / XenDesktop / Backup & Recovery: Veeam, Backup Exec / Network & Security: Sophos, Cisco
• Higher vocational education (HF) or equivalent; certifications are a plus
• Strong service mentality and enjoyment of direct customer contact
• Professional, confident demeanor both internally and externally
• Team player with a proactive, solution-oriented working style
• High sense of responsibility, reliability and quality awareness
• You communicate confidently in German and English, both verbally and in writing
