About the role
- Senior Fullstack Developer focusing on Frontend at BLUME2000. Engaged in developing a modern, scalable online shop and collaborating across teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop and evolve modern web applications with a focus on the frontend (React, Next.js).
- Implement high-performance, SEO-optimized applications with Next.js and Vercel.
- Actively shape and advance our headless commerce architecture.
- Integrate and utilize: Storyblok (CMS), Algolia (search), Commercetools (commerce backend), fulfillment tools (logistics & order management), Akeneo (PIM).
- Build consistent UI components using Ant Design and Iconify.
- Work closely with backend development, product owners and design.
- Ensure code quality through reviews, tests and clean architecture.
- Contribute to technical decisions, standards and best practices.
- Mentor and provide professional support to less-experienced developers.
Requirements
- Several years of experience as a Fullstack or Frontend developer, ideally in e-commerce.
- Very strong knowledge of React and Next.js (including App Router, SSR, SSG).
- Solid fullstack understanding with a clear focus on frontend architecture and UX.
- Experience with headless commerce setups and complex system landscapes.
- Hands-on experience integrating external systems (CMS, search, commerce, fulfillment) via APIs.
- Experience with Vercel and modern CI/CD deployment tools.
- Basic knowledge of cloud environments, ideally GCP.
- Confident use of component libraries and design systems.
- Understanding of: performance optimization for online shops, SEO & accessibility, and scalable frontend architectures.
- Independent, structured working style and a strong team orientation.
- Fluent German language skills, both written and spoken (at least C1 CEFR).
