Responsibilities
- Accounts Payable Support — Assist with invoice processing, vendor data entry, and payment tracking
- Reconciliations — Support bank and account reconciliations under senior analyst guidance
- Period-Close Assistance — Help prepare working papers and supporting schedules for monthly close
- Journal Entry Support — Assist in posting and verifying entries in NetSuite
- Budget & Forecast Support — Pull data, update models, and assist with variance tracking
- Financial Reporting — Help compile reports and presentation decks for management
- AI & Process Automation — Identify repetitive finance workflows and assist in automating them using AI tools, prompt engineering, and workflow automation platforms
- Ad Hoc Projects — Contribute to process improvement initiatives and finance transformation efforts driven by AI and technology
Requirements
- Education — Enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
- Year of Study — 2nd year or above preferred
- Excel — Proficiency required; pivot tables, lookups, and basic modelling
- ERP Systems — Familiarity with NetSuite is an asset
- AI Literacy — Familiarity with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) and interest in applying them to finance workflows
- AI Agents — Experience building AI agents or workflow automations is a strong optional asset
