About the role

  • Auditory role in healthcare management focusing on chronic and oncology patient care in Brazil. Collaborating with professionals to ensure comprehensive patient support and care quality.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the care journey of chronic and oncology patients, providing guidance on self-care and facilitating access to the contracted provider network.
  • Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses and other professionals to discuss clinical cases and align care approaches.
  • Identify, assess and refer beneficiaries to appropriate health programs.
  • Analyze enrollment (onboarding), extensions and discharge (weaning/discharge) of patients in home care services.
  • Conduct occasional home visits to audit the quality of services provided and validate the care delivered.
  • Evaluate and validate home care plans, budgets, contract addenda and incidents/complications.
  • Compare cost-effectiveness between home-based hospitalization and in-hospital care, and analyze approvals for OPME (orthoses, prostheses and special medical supplies).
  • Review compliance of records, apply claim adjustments/denials when necessary, and ensure adherence to applicable regulations (ANS, Unimed).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Physical Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, Nutrition or Psychology, with active registration in the respective professional council/board
  • Postgraduate specialization in Health Management, Project Management or Health Auditing
  • Intermediate Excel skills
