About the role
- Senior Network Security Analyst focusing on Fortinet solutions for internal and client infrastructures. Implementing security improvements and managing critical incident responses.
Responsibilities
- Manage computing environments and participate in defining the network security technology architecture.
- Propose and implement security improvements for network assets.
- Monitor and handle security events and alerts in the environment's control tools.
- Identify, respond to, and mitigate information security and data protection incidents.
- Identify, analyze, and mitigate vulnerabilities and security gaps in information assets.
- Assist in creating and updating procedures, standards, policies, and other environment documentation.
- Support risk management for network assets.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Support training and user awareness processes on network security.
- Manage the configuration of the environment's network security control tools, such as: FIREWALL, WAF, NAC, NDR, ZTNA, WEBFILTER, SECURE SDWAN, IDS/IPS.
- Participate in the implementation of internal and client projects.
- Support analysis of data behavior related to cyberattacks and their consequences during normal operations, seasonal events, or crises.
Requirements
- Skills: Information Security frameworks (ISO 27001, ISO 27002, NIST, MITRE, CIS CONTROLS)
- Incident identification and handling processes
- Best practices in network segmentation and concepts of microsegmentation
- Tools: FIREWALL, WAF, NAC, NDR, ZTNA, WEBFILTER, SECURE SDWAN, IDS/IPS
- Operating systems: Windows, Linux, and containers
- Good communication, organization, and responsibility
- Desired education: Bachelor's degree in technology or information security
