About the role

  • Forensic Auditor conducting investigations on ethical violations at Unidas. Responsible for ensuring compliance with practices and protocols in mobility solutions sector.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct internal investigations related to alleged violations of Unidas' Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, including the Anti‑Bribery and Anti‑Corruption Program and Policy and other relevant policies.
  • Analyze the details of the allegation and develop a work plan using 5W2H steps, considering timeliness, confidentiality, impartiality and objectivity.
  • Ensure investigations are carried out consistently using best practices and established investigative standards.
  • Perform transaction analyses, review documents and electronic files (e‑Discovery), conduct background checks and investigative interviews.
  • Prepare reports in accordance with Brookfield’s Conduct and Ethics investigation protocols, applied together with our policies and standards.
  • Develop reports and participate in status meetings in Portuguese and English.
  • Report project status to Internal Audit Management, anticipating potential issues and delays and proposing solutions to minimize project impact.
  • Apply innovative approaches to continuously improve the business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree completed in Accounting, Business Administration, Law, Psychology, Social Sciences or other related fields.
  • Knowledge of forensic tools and methodologies such as Intella, Nuix, FTK (or other e‑Discovery tools and procedures).
  • Intermediate Excel skills.
  • Required experience as a forensic investigation auditor.
  • Investigative skills and qualifications such as attention to detail, discretion, sound judgment and knowledge of established investigative techniques.
  • Ability to manage large volumes of data, analyze information and compile reports.
  • Curious and intuitive profile, able to explore diverse possibilities during the investigative process.
  • Strong analytical ability, with skill in cross‑referencing data and information to obtain results.
  • Ability to describe events and communicate messages with clarity and objectivity.
  • Good interpersonal skills to interact with different profiles and gather information in complex scenarios.
  • Availability to travel.
