About the role

  • Senior Technical Architect developing cloud solutions for ICT Professional Services team. Leading design and architecture of IT solutions while advising clients on new services and solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the overall design and architecture of complex IT solutions leveraging IaaS/PaaS cloud services and cloud-native technologies.
  • Meet with clients in order to advise them on new services/solutions.
  • Develop and manage designs solutions for clients.
  • Act as trusted advisor and provide high level guidance and direction on project teams regarding architectural aspects.
  • Produce quality documentation in solution designs and blueprints for current and prospect clients.
  • Prepare and demonstrate the proposed solution.
  • Support the internal solutions and sales team in the preparation of proposals to be submitted in bids/tenders, that include architectural matters.
  • Create documentation and revise the deliverables for complicated/ important projects.
  • Manage the implementation of the project/solution and the coordination of the teams involved.
  • Research and evaluate new technology products in order to develop new solutions in collaboration with the Presales/Solutions teams.

Requirements

  • University/College degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or other relative discipline.
  • 3+ years of proven experience as a Technical Architect in Design and Architecture functions with a strong background in Systems Engineering, Software Development or DevOps.
  • Deep knowledge of Cloud technologies with 4-5 years hands-on experience in at least one of the major public cloud providers (Azure/AWS/GCP).
  • Familiarity with Windows/Linux operating systems and Databases (MSSQL/Oracle/MySQL).
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD processes and DevOps practices.
  • Experience in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Bicep or Terraform.
  • Solid knowledge of Open Source technologies will be a plus.
  • Knowledge of a modern programming language (Python, JavaScript, .Net, Java, etc.) or scripting (Bash/PowerShell).
  • Exposure to cloud-native technologies such as microservices, containerization, serverless, APIs etc.
  • Ability to understand and lead the implementation of strategic IT solutions, given the complexity of projects.
  • Proven ability to leverage AI techniques to enhance system intelligence, automation, and decision-making within large-scale architectures.
  • Genuine interest in exploring and working with new technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills to work with various business stakeholders.
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language, both written and verbal.
  • Relevant technical certifications will be highly appreciated.
  • Flexibility/availability to travel abroad (5% of working time).
