Paralegal supporting Tubi's legal team with agreements, contract review, and legal operations. Collaborating within a fast-paced legal department in the streaming industry.
Responsibilities
Prepare and send agreements for signature via DocuSign.
Review and edit commercial contracts.
Evaluate contractual obligations and collect deliverables (e.g., certificates of insurance, etc.).
File and maintain contracts and other documents in our contracts lifecycle management system.
Manage and streamline contract lifecycles (e.g., collaborating with multiple departments, internal systems, and brokering efficiencies across various internal stakeholders).
Interface with multiple teams to assist the legal team’s efforts in the preparation, implementation, and optimization of forms, processes, and procedures.
Provide support to the legal department on long-term projects that improve the performance and efficiencies of the legal team.
Provide other paralegal support as needed.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, or equivalent work experience.
At least 2 years in a paralegal role with an in-house legal department, or 3 years or more of media industry-related legal experience.
Paralegal certificate from an accredited program or an equivalent combination of skills.
Familiarity with Microsoft Word for Mac, Microsoft Excel, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Gmail, iManage, DocMinder, AirTable, Docusign, Ironclad, and other legal department software.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to handle multiple, competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight.
Highly effective communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of the organization.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters.
Ability to work effectively independently and collaboratively with others.
