About the role

  • Environmental Project Manager at Triton leading successful delivery of high-impact environmental projects. Collaborating across clients including government, First Nations, and industrial sectors in a safety-driven culture.

Responsibilities

  • Planning, organizing, and managing a diverse array of projects, people, and tasks.
  • Successfully managing project delivery through cost-efficient and timely completion of deliverables.
  • Maintaining, establishing, and developing client relationships that facilitate the successful delivery of projects and future opportunities.
  • Cultivating and maintaining relationships with other consultants, construction contractors, regulators, and other stakeholders.
  • Supporting corporate business development initiatives, including compiling and reporting on regional business development opportunities.
  • Leading and/or helping to support the preparation of proposals and cost estimates.
  • Maintaining and supporting Triton’s industry‑wide reputation as a leader in the environmental consulting industry.
  • Providing mentorship and training for our junior staff and for the environmental professional team.
  • Provide excellent service to clients, building and maintaining strong, lasting relationships.
  • Ensure safety standards are not just met but exceeded, protecting your team and clients.

Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in a related field (e.g., environmental science, biology, agrology, ecology)
  • Experience working within the environmental industry sector is preferred.
  • Knowledge of and experience with provincial and federal environmental standards, and regulations or guidelines.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management (i.e., budgeting, project tracking, cost-accounting and scope control) and leading and supervising of project teams.
  • Business development acumen (e.g., client relationships, strategic planning, proposal writing).
  • Effective writing skills and ability to produce meaningful reports and proposals.
  • Strong problem solver able to address challenges with effective solutions that improve systems and/or relationships, and with strong strategic thinking skills.
  • Accreditation or eligibility for accreditation with a professional governing body and having a professional designation is preferred.
