About the role
- Collaborate with a skilled team of software developers to design, scale, and deliver new features and services
- Work closely with your Tech Lead, Product Manager, and Scrum Master to ensure efficient delivery and maintain a healthy team dynamic
- Champion best practices in both design and coding, emphasizing quality, organization, automation, and thoughtful use of AI-assisted tooling
Requirements
- 5+ years of back-end development experience
- Experience with modern PHP frameworks, preferably Symfony
- Experience with Yii Framework is a plus
- Experience building REST APIs
- Familiar with JSON Schemas, OpenAPI/Swagger, OAuth
- Comfortable with AWS services such as SQS and Lambdas
- Knowledge of Node.js and TypeScript is a plus
- Practical experience optimizing relational databases, preferably MySQL
- Experience writing tests (Unit, Integration and Functional tests)
- Experience working in an agile environment/squad
- Ability to lead by example, influencing and mentoring junior developers
- Good communicator - you understand your job goes beyond coding your tickets
- Self-starter with a lot of initiative
