About the role

  • Data Engineer analyzing data for business decisions in a wellness group. Collaborating with teams to improve data-driven decision-making using modern tech stack.

Responsibilities

  • You perform analyses that support data-driven decision making across all business areas.
  • You work with a mature tech stack: data in Snowflake, modeling with dbt, and reporting with Amazon QuickSight.
  • You use a centralized data warehouse with diverse data sources: POS systems, sales data, movement/operational data, web tracking, and e‑commerce data across the entire customer journey.
  • You are the main point of contact for reporting requests and for the further development of our complex data model.
  • Together with our internal developers and external partners, you help our business teams systematically make better data-driven decisions.
  • You understand our business model, know the details of workflows and objectives of your colleagues, and provide advisory support with tailored reports.

Requirements

  • Several years of experience as a Data Engineer or Data Architect, ideally at a company with web and app products.
  • Experience in an e‑commerce environment is particularly valuable — you understand how items move through the system architecture (from online shop through order processes to invoicing).
  • Experience with cloud solutions such as Snowflake and AWS is a plus.
  • Strong proficiency with complex SQL queries is required.
  • Experience with dbt and Git is desirable.
  • Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker — we use Amazon QuickSight.
  • Knowledge of data governance, and an understanding of security requirements and compliance (GDPR).
  • Strong communication skills in German (min. C1) and English, solution-oriented, and a team player.
  • Organizational talent: you work in a structured way, prioritize effectively, and have experience with tools such as Jira or Asana.

Benefits

  • Work in a paradisiacal setting: our facilities offer a unique working environment with South Seas ambience under palm trees.
  • Exclusive employee benefits: use our products and services on special terms — a real plus for your well‑being.
  • Flexible & fair: whether shift work or flexitime — we offer fair, modern working time models that fit your life.
  • Easy onboarding: a structured onboarding with a training plan and mentoring program ensures you feel comfortable from day one.
  • Individual development opportunities: we invest in you and support your growth through personal training with a dedicated budget.
  • Stability & security: as part of an established corporate group, you benefit from strong backing, modern structures, and long‑term job security.
  • More for life: childcare allowance, bike leasing, corporate fitness, and a company pension scheme that goes beyond statutory requirements give you and us peace of mind.
  • Free beverages & dining perks: refreshments are on us — plus attractive meal discounts at our partner restaurants.
