About the role

Responsibilities
- Develop APIs and applications in the healthcare domain related to Patient, Membership, Order, Dispense, and Pharmacy operations
- Perform application development and maintenance of entity-based micro services using Java/J2EE
- Analyze and create business models, logical specifications, and/or user requirements to develop solutions for the application
- Lead discussions with all levels of the organization and communicate ideas and/or issues
- Participate in technical planning and requirements gathering phases
- Develop REST APIs (microservices) to expose REST endpoints
- Participate in scrum meetings and coordinate with business analysts to understand business needs
- Design and document solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, diagrams, and code comments
- Work with product owners to elaborate on product requirements
- Provide and implement technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems in production
Requirements
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field
- 4 years of IT experience
