Responsibilities
- Define, develop and/or implement Technology Controls / Information Security related policies and programs
- Provide specialized expertise and guidance on assessing risks and security solutions
- Participate on projects of moderate to high complexity and provide reporting, analysis, and assessments
- Support the Threat Intelligence mission providing timely, actionable, and relevant intelligence
- Maintain a holistic view of the threat landscape for cyber, physical, and geopolitical threats
- Conduct research across deep and dark web, OSINT, and vendor sources for threat investigation
- Author and review intelligence products for stakeholders and operational personnel
- Provide subject matter expertise on emerging threats relevant to TD and the financial sector
- Proactively review internal processes to identify opportunities for improvement
- Develop and deliver threat briefings on key threats to the financial sector.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Information security certification / accreditation an asset
- 5-7 years of relevant experience
- CompTIA Security+ ISC2 CISSP preferred
- Experience using common intelligence processes / tools, including a threat intelligence platform
- Proven superior written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated tradecraft in open-source collection
- Up-to-date knowledge of the cyber threat landscape
- Excellent time management skills
- Advanced ability to apply real world geopolitical indicators to forecast threat actor behavior
- Demonstrated knowledge of the current threat landscape, banking and technology standards and regulatory requirements
- Experience in tracking and profiling nation-state, cybercriminal, and hacktivist threat actors
- Firm understanding of networking and packet transmission.
