VPGM Emerging Leader managing operations at Sysco distribution centers. Traveling for training and assuming general management responsibilities upon completion.
Responsibilities
Serve as a VPGM in training, traveling to various locations to shadow current leaders.
Gain the skills necessary to successfully manage one of our centers.
Lead the site, build strong customer relationships, optimize operational processes, and promote a productive workplace culture.
Complete a series of key experiences and develop a deep understanding of our business.
Manage area operations to meet budget and other financial goals.
Regularly meet with the VP, Field Operations and other corporate leaders regarding the status of the area’s operations.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business or supply chain is strongly preferred.
A minimum of 10 years’ experience in a large-scale operations distribution management experience with direct responsibility for Transportation or Warehouse services.
