About the role
- AV Multimedia Engineer in Swiss Re's Global Multimedia Operations Team. Responsible for daily AV services and implementing meeting room technologies in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Ensure daily operations of the global AV Multimedia service
- Provide remote or hands-on dedicated AV support for high profile business meetings and large scale local or global live events
- Operate integrated AV systems in accordance with specifications
- Develop, test and implement new meeting room technologies
- Manage incidents and escalations for AV services
- Ensure high quality of operational service and high levels of performance for Multimedia services
- Support education and training for customers
- Manage life-cycle activities for AV Multimedia Hardware assets
- Improve standard operating procedures & documentation
Requirements
- Degree or qualification in IT/AV Media Production related discipline or equivalent technical and business experience
- Sound know-how and technical knowledge of physical Video Conferencing and Audio-Visual systems
- Wide knowledge of major web conferencing platforms
- Hands-on experience of supporting Microsoft Teams and MS Teams Townhall
- Preferred knowledge of IT Service Management and reporting tools such as Service Now (SNOW), Jira, MySpend, Power BI etc.
