About the role
- Associate Manager - Finance at Sun King in Mumbai, overseeing accounting closures and taxation compliance. Engaging in diverse financial activities within a high-impact organization.
Responsibilities
- Monthly closure of books of account: Ensure accurate and timely completion of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
- Taxation, compliance monitoring and audits: Manage all direct and indirect tax compliances, statutory filings, assessments, and audits.
- Legal and Secretarial Compliance: Assist in review and execution of company agreements and contractual documentation.
- Account Payable Management and Banking relations: Oversee accounts payable operations, including invoice booking, vendor payments, and employee reimbursements.
- Other aspects: Ensure effective coordination with Operations and Sales teams on business and finance-related matters.
Requirements
- A Chartered Accountant qualification
- 2+ years of relevant work experience in controllership, auditing, accounting or taxation
- A clear thinking / problem solving ability, able to oversee projects/process improvement initiatives within the organization
- Fluent in written and verbal English communication
- Proficient in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
