About the role

Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of complex software systems
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Clinical, Marketing, and Project Management
- Contribute across the full product lifecycle—from concept, design, and development through verification, validation, and launch
- Design, develop, modify, and verify medical device software components
- Translate user, clinical, market, and Voice of Customer inputs into design requirements
- Conduct advanced prototyping, testing, research, and problem solving
- Participate in code reviews
- Generate, review, and maintain comprehensive engineering documentation
- Follow and mentor others on R&D procedures, design controls, risk management, regulatory standards, and Quality Management System requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline
- Minimum of 4+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong hands-on experience developing Windows-based applications using C#, C++, and .NET
- Deep proficiency in WPF and Windows Services
- Experience designing, developing, and integrating APIs (REST, SOAP, WCF, gRPC)
- Strong knowledge of Ethernet and IP networking, including AV‑over‑IP protocols (TCP/UDP, multicast, QoS, VLANs, NDI, SDVoE)
- Knowledge of FPGAs
- Familiarity with US FDA and ISO standards like IEC 62304, IEC 60601, 21CRF 820 is a plus
