About the role

  • Providing best-in-class financial aid support to Capella learners through various communication channels. Coaching learners on funding decisions and conducting team dialogue for improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Providing best-in-class financing and financial aid support to learners
  • Personalized interactions through different communication channels (phone, email, chat, text)
  • Coaching learners through key decisions and solutions regarding funding programs
  • Engaging in team dialogue to improve team performance
  • Proactively assessing learner needs regarding financing plans
  • Assisting learners in understanding and utilizing their financing plan
  • Leveraging tools, systems, and software applications to optimize learner engagement

Requirements

  • 1+ year in financial aid contact role or customer experience support/advisor
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Fundamental understanding of FAST goals and university goals
  • Comfort with federal regulations and policies
